Building nuclear plants sounds great, except we will run out of uranium in less than 80 years, so those nuclear plants will be useless as the price of uranium goes up in a few years… it’s not limitless.

And you know uranium has a half life right…… it will eventually decay on its own…. what else are you going to use uranium for?????

I take that number from a report by the Council on Foreign Relations. I can’t include a link, so go to their website and search for ‘global uranium supply’

The uranium could be used for nuclear weapons instead, perhaps? Most of the uranium that we (the U.S.) use for nuclear power now comes from decommissioned warheads.

I think nuclear power is fine, except that putting money into building more plants now would be a waste if these plants are only profitable for a short time.
